China is an interesting country especially with information security is concerned. Most of websites in China are still using http instead of https.

A few website have managed to deploy a full encryption SSL Certificates while others are using Chinese CA issued SSL Certificates that have been accused of partial encryption. SOme of these Chinese CA issued SSL Certificates that are known for selective encryption are distrusted by Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.

Some of these distrusted SSL include StartSSL by Startcom SSL by WoSign.

Website with distrusted SSL Certificates display a warning sign when accessed from Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox and thereby losing web visitors.

AskSSL.com is accessible in China, it is not blocked by Great Firewall (GFW) and therefore provides Trusted SSL Certificates to the Chinese businesses just like other businesses all over the world.
