What is SSL?
SSL is Secure Socket Layer. It is the most used standard or protocol used to encrypt and secure internet communication between two systems to prevent interference of the message during transit. The two system could be a web browser and a server.
Internet communication could be transfer of private and personal information and therefore any website that is transferring information need a trusted environment for transferring data.
SSL certificates used to be used for ecommerce websites but not anymore, all websites now needs an SSL and ASKSSL provides free SSL for all.
